YPAYCASH is a prepaid mobile wallet on your mobile phone in which you can load money and then use it to pay for a wide range of products and services. You can use YPAYCASH to recharge mobile, pay bills, book bus tickets, transfer money to bank, purchase at YPC merchant outlets, enable wallet to wallet money transfers, pay at e-commerce sites and load money directly from your mobile.

YPAYCASH acts as a single-source for your payments, irrespective of the amount. It also means you need not carry separate cards (credit/ debit) for payments.
- Safe and secure: YPAYCASH pre-paid mobile wallet is authorised by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).YPAYCASH comes with security features such as an e-PIN that acts as your password. Its PKI (public key infrastructure) technology ensures the money in your wallet will be protected in case you lose or misplace your handset.
- No transaction costs: Yes, it’s absolutely free. There are no transaction charges or hidden costs.

*As per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) banking regulations, you have to provide full KYC (Know Your Customer) details if you opt for the Maxima Prepaid plan. This is obligatory for amounts of Rs.50, 000 and above.

YPAYCASH is neither a credit card nor a debit card. It is a multipurpose prepaid payment instrument that is authorized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). It performs payment transactions without having to expose your bank account or credit/debit card details.
YPAYCASH mobile application works on a broad range of mobile platforms that includes Android, iPhone, Windows, Blackberry and Java/J2ME based phones.
Yes, you need a basic GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) version to download the YPAYCASH application. Few identified service providers offering this service include, but are not limited to Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL, MTNL, Loop and Tata (CDMA & GSM).
You can have only one account under a single name. More than one account cannot be tagged to the same mobile number.
A lot of things you’d normally pay through credit or debit cards can now be paid digitally through your YPAYCASH mobile wallet on your phone.
Just open the application on your mobile and enter your e-PIN. Select the type of payment you want to make.
For making payment to Merchant/Retailer – Go to ‘Menu’, select ‘Pay at Shop’, enter the amount. A Quick Response (QR) code will be generated. The QR code is presented to the merchant/ retailer enabled with YPAYCASH. The merchant/retailer scans the QR code and accepts the payment.
For Recharge/ Utility bill payments/ Insurance (Top-up/Mobile/DTH) - Click on Recharge/Bill Payments, then select the type of payment, opt for the service for recharge/Mobile/DTH (choose your appropriate service and provider). After entering the amount, submit the request. You will instantly receive the recharge confirmation message.
Money transfer- Select ‘Send Money’. Pick the mobile number from your phone contact list or you can enter the name and mobile number to transfer the money. After submitting the request, you will receive the money transfer confirmation message. Please note, YPACASH money transfer will work if the recipient is also using YPAYCASH.
- For YPAYCASH Insta prepaid – it is instantaneously!

It’s immediately as it’s a real time transfer. You can transfer money from credit cards, debit cards, net banking, from another wallet and any authorized YPAYCASH kiosks by cash.

It’s pretty simple. Go to www.ypaycash.com. Under ‘Merchant Locator’ section, you can view the list of merchants/retailers that accept YPAYCASH. This list is constantly updated as our merchant network is rising rapidly. Click here to locate now
- Open YPAYCASH app on your mobile and click on ‘Top up your wallet’ or ‘Load Money’.
- Use your appropriate payment mode (credit/ debit card/net banking/ over the counter) to recharge the wallet.
- Enter the amount to be recharged. YPAYCASH then validates the amount you want to be stored.
- Once the payment is successfully recharged, your mobile wallet is credited with the sum. (Important: Ensure you don’t close or refresh the window till the process is completed).
- You can also recharge your account at YPAYCASH authorized retailer and merchant outlets.
- YPAYCASH is a free service except when you reload cash at retailer / merchant outlets where a nominal service charge is applicable.
Yes, you can utilize YPAYCASH anywhere in India. At the moment, merchant outlets are operational in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. However, we are fervently working on expanding the YPAYCASH network and soon it will be available across the country.

To prevent any misuse of the wallet, you can either call our Customer Care number at 1800-4250-6789 or send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org specifying your name, date of birth and mobile number to enable us to help you. We will block the wallet and your money will be safe.
Getting your money back was never so easy. YPAYCASH makes it simple to recover your money due to a processing error or premature closure of account.
Let’s say your bank account/ credit/ debit card is debited, but YPAYCASH mobile wallet is not credited with balance. In such a situation, you are advised to call our Customer Care or send us an email to email@example.com and provide details of recharge failure. We will then validate the request and initiate refund to your account.
Any refund procedure normally takes between 7 to 21 days. Also please note, for certain services like bus bookings relevant cancellation charges will be applicable.
In such situations, you can write to us firstname.lastname@example.org and raise a complaint. We will take up the issue with the service provider and look for a quick resolution.
At times, this may be due to a process failure. Whenever you face such a situation, where you have made the payment but failed to receive the recharge confirmation, go to transaction summary and select the relevant transaction and click the update query. If it is a prepaid payment then it will be successfully recharged immediately; for post paid and other utility payments: it will be updated within 48 hours. If the issue continues to persist, just speak to our Customer Care at 1800-4250-6789 or email a screenshot of recharge confirmation to email@example.com with your account details and we will look for a resolution.
Normally, it takes 1-2 working days. However, this depends on the NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) system and bank working days, to credit the money to a bank account.
This is a real time transfer, so it’s immediate. However, this transfer can happen only between two YPAYCASH wallets.

YPAYCASH Merchant mobile wallet app enables merchants and retailers to collect payments from customers using mobile wallet account for goods and services provided.
Open YPAYCASH app on your mobile and key-in your e-PIN. Click on the menu ‘Merchant Services’, select ‘Collect Payment’ and scan the QR code presented by the customer. It will display details of the payment to be received. Accept and confirm the payment. On successful completion of process you will receive a payment receipt confirmation.

If the error is due to overcharging the customer, or if the customer enters a higher amount than required, you have to settle the surplus amount either in cash or by providing products or services equivalent to the surplus amount.
Any mobile phone with application download capability can use the YPAYCASH mobile wallet.
